I am just not adept enough to sharpen the concave cutters let alone the
knob cutters. That's where I draw the line on being a do it yourselfer.
Specialty tools should be sharpened by experts.... in my humble opinion.
I took my tools to a local sharpener, and he said that he couldn't
guarantee the work.... The gentleman to whom I sent my tools, is not
related to me, and I certainly do not have any affiliation with him, but
for those who are interested here is his Email address:

My tools have the need for sharpening but there must be a better way (for me
at least) than shipping them off. I thought we talked about this a couple
years ago, but I didn't save those posts :-( . Don't most of us sharpen our
tools ourselves? And with what he asks? My whet stone just doesn't -cut-
it.

Dear IBCers.
After a couple years of using dull tools, (esppecially concave and knob
cutters) and not being able to find a person locally who could sharpen
my tools, I finally found one, but not locally here in New Jersey....
