There must be a webpage out there with info on what to take & do etc.?
Definitely lots of photos, waterproof camera bag, extra cards if digital or
even a laptop with CD's
Bug repellant & water bottle.

Plant Tour to Guatemala and Belize

December 3 - 16, 2003


We will be exploring the countries of Guatemala and Belize to explore
and observe exciting species of Orchids, Bromeliads, Heliconias,
Cacti, Aroids, Ferns, and many other exotic tropical plants. We will
be covering a wide range of climates and terrain changes as well as a
river trips on the Rio Dulce in Guatemala and Punta Gorda, Belize.
Plant specialists will be part of trip to assist in the identification
of plants. It will be an exciting adventure for all. The trip is
designed for a small group for all to have a great time, lots of fun,
and of course plants!

This will be a unique opportunity to visit both Guatemala and Belize.
The itinerary has been arranged so that one can visit Guatemala or
Belize or both countries. In addition the first part of the trip will
be a optional tour to Antigua Guatemala, Chichicastenango and Lago de
Atitlan.

The price of the trip as follows:

$1,450 USD for Guatemala
$1,950 USD for Belize
$3,195 USD for both Guatemala and Belize
$450 USD for optional tour to Antigua and Lago de Atitlan.
A 50% deposit is required by October 21st and the balance is due on
arrival in Guatemala or Belize (Cash or certified check only). The
cost of the trip includes all your meals, double-room hotel
accommodations, transportation and all the fun you can have. The trip
costs does not include your airfare, $20 USD Belize departure tax,
liquor, and souvenirs, etc. Single room accommodations can be arranged
at a higher rate.
