Default [IBC] literture about tropicals and subtropicals

Hi Walter!

Serious scientific stuff? Then you need to give me some less vague keywords. I can search the CAB database, but if I say "subtropical", I'll get 174,000 hits. Be more specific, or have your friend browse the book "Exotica", which is neither scientific o
r serious, but has pictures of hundreds of tropical and subtropical plants.

Hi all,

a good friend of mine is doing some research and wants to know about literature for tropical and subtropical trees. He is mainly interested in ficus. It should be seroius, scientific stuff. He wants to be able to tell the exact species and possible varie

ty in a botanical garden where they have gathered lots of things over the years. Among them are some bonsai.

Some idea?

Thank you
Walter Pall
