Good questions.
I use about four times the diameter of the trunk for the moss bundle.
Wrap the moss firmly but not very tight.
Keep the moss on for months. You want to see lots of roots in the plastic
but you need to give the roots time to grow into the moss and then into the
ground. If you pull the plastic off before the roots are in the ground they
will dry out and never make it into the ground.
Once you are sure that they are in the ground you can take the plastic off.
Do not rush to remove the moss. Do this gradually over 3-6 months as the
roots are very fragile and you can break them off.
You can do the technique any time of year but the roots grow best when the
tree is active.

How much of the long fibler sphagnum moss to use compare to the trunk or
branches size ?
Do you wrap with plastic loosely or not ?
Do you keep the sphagnum moss and plastic wrap until the newly aerial root
elongate to a certain length ?
What months can you use this technique ?
