I've got these trees in four inch pots at the moment. I'd like
to
repot, but only to trim off the tap root and spread the root
pad out a
bit. Is that something I can do now, or should I wait until
they have a
chance to fill out a bit first? None of them has any leaves
just yet,
but the buds are starting to break.



I'd wait until you can get them outside after the operation.
They'll recuperate better outdoors.
