You don't say if you have previously had crops on this tree
prior to the last 2 years. Where did the tree come from, seed or nursery.
Some types are ornamental only (usually double flowered ) and seed grown
trees can be very variable and often useless. If the tree has previously
fruited, then you may find the drought has been the problem.
