Actually, the delay is attributed to a change in web host and the associated
delays while the new DNS links get propagated throughout the net.

That's pretty poor webmastering, in my mind. Always COPY the files to the
new servers, then as the new IP addresses get circulated, folks will find
themselves at the new location.

OK, so you ask a question on the forum as web host A and it doesn't make it
to web host B due to timing, but a little frustration - easily explained
away - is better than preventing folks from using the resource at all.

The older Netscape browsers are a major problem and trying to get a site

degrade nicely in a way that is acceptable and functional is a task. The
new Safari browser is real buggy. Then there is Explorer, Mozilla,
Firebird, Opera, new Netscape, old Netscape, Safari, and a few others.
Browser compatibility is probably only a minor headache though. There are
so many situations that surface under different architectures.

I imagine that the work being done will be appreciated by everyone. I
imagine that whole AOS site will be upgraded in sections. It is a never
ending task.
