Subject: Rabbits eating bark on berries

The message
from Ross contains these words:

Over the winter, we had an attack of Rabbits eating bark off our
blackberries. Will it kill them? Should we do something to help them
recover?

Well, if they are lying there whimpering and clutching their bellies
and mouths, maybe sweating or vomiting, then it should be easy to
load them onto little stretchers made out of cornflake packets, and
take them to the vet.

If the rabbits are still running around as fast as fit rabbits do and
looking perky, you'll be needing some kind of restraints on the
stretchers.

Aaaaarrgggg, nonono silly rabbit, I meant the blackberries!!!

Better round up a rabbit and take it to the vet just in case, esp. if you
have kids. Wouldn't want to peeve the Easter Bunny, you know. Might end
up finding some Easter eggs ... from last year.
