Default I unearthed some termites in the middle of a garen project...

In article , belldandy1
@comcast.net says...
NOOO!
do not disturb the colony it's best to get them undisturbed if they
are two disturbed they can move and then you will have to find them
again

the colony will be up to fifteen feet under ground, up to 50 feet away. He
has just disturbed a feeding tube, one of many a colony will have or a tube
they are creating in preparation of swarming.
I worked for a pest control company before I lost my vision
have the pest guy put termite spikes in your yard with treated
blocks make sure he treats the entire perimeter of the house
do not use mulch for a while unless it is treated red caeder
when he sprays try not to disturb the barior he lies down.
don't dig it up or it will go away

I would avoid the baiting...way too much money for no more results you will
get.

and if you have children or pets don't let him use deamon chemicals
this year is the last year they can use that product so they will be
trying to get rid of it ad but it is bad news even in smaller
consintrations

Not sure if you mean dursban...it is already off the market for post
construction termite work.

Don't let him lie to you and say it's ok either tell him to use the
new stuff even if he has to go to the office to get it
Take it from a former technition if you don't have small pets or
children you can let him use it

If by new stuff you mean a product called Termidor, that would be the only
thing I would suggest.

It is said that the early bird gets the worm,
but it is the second mouse that gets the cheese.
