Default Moss on a gravel drive

I have been told that Ferrous Sulphate applied to moss on a gravel drive
will kill it. Has anyone tried this, and, if so, what are the

"proportions"
used? I have tried finding out the answer with Google but most peole seem

to
want to kill moss in lawns and not on gravel.

My thanks.

Just sprinkle the moss with bicarbonate of soda which will raise the pH and
kill the moss. After that if you want to keep it out try to eliminate the
dampness and/or the shade. If can't do that ensure the pH is always above
7.0 by spreading lime a couple times a year.
