Default [IBC] protecting trees from cicada damage

Mike

Doesn't Deer netting have 3/4 inch holes?

The article suggest 3/8-1/2" holes max.

Do you think deer netting will work? Just wondering because I have not found
any screening with holes smaller then 3/4"yet.

Not seen or heard any big bugs, yet here in Western Mass.

just sitting. And staring.

I am covering the deciduous trees with deer net, which should be enough to
stop the Cicadas should they decide to select my trees for the branch

splitting
and egg laying ceremony.

My last resort will be an application of Sevin (should a swarm of the

Cicadas
threaten any of hard-earned ramifications in my deciduous trees).
