Damn!
First garden after 4 years of moving around in flats.
12 beautiful outdoor tomatoes ripped out by the wind. No time to
start again

Another idea.
People will be pinching out side shoots and if any of your friends
have left theirs to get a bit too long, 5 or 6 inches, they root very
quickly in water.
Worth a try!

Thanks everyone,
just been out and rescued what I can using
many of your tips. I now have 10 plants in varying stages of recovery. I've
filled the two empty places with some small pepper plants that were
struggling in a pot.

Lets hope for a loooooooooong summer, looking forward to reaching out
of the kitchen window to pick cherry toms ( and now peppers ) off the plant!
