I am originally from PA, and rocks were all over the place but here
they command a god price and sold by the pound.Never in my entire life

That is why I hate buying anachris and frogs and such since it grows
wild. Unfortunately, State Law in PA inhibits taking stuff from
nature.
I get my rocks from the top of Blue Mountain [see background ridge in
my pictures at yahoo] The only problem I get is from property owners
who think I am dropping off trash.
