From research on the web it looks like Copper Sulphate or the herbicide
"dichlobenil" (2,6-dichlorobenzonitrile) are commonly used for killing

roots in
pipes without killing the rest of the tree.

Does anyone know if either of these are allowed in Australia (Perth)?

Mike

The Copper Sulphate is readily available in Perth, complete with directions
for usage in that situation.
I would imagine in these days of strict regulation that it would not be on
the shelves if it was not allowed here.
I guess the sewage authority would be the place to ask the question if you
wanted absolute assurance.
