It depends on how big an area you need to do. The Mantis and other similar
small ones work good for small areas. Beyond that, go with a rear tine
tiller. I have a 30+ year old Troy Bilt Horse that still runs great.
(Note that MTD bought out Troy Bilt, so the quality of the newer ones may not
be the same).
