My favourite method has always been 15cm long cuttings of current seasons
growth inserted in a cold frame in the Autumn, but worth a try at any
time,
I have certainly got them to root from February cuttings, expect them to
take between 6-9 months to root. they are not a lot quicker in a mist
unit.

If there are thin branches very close to the ground would it be possible to
propagate by layering?
