The message
from (Nick Maclaren) contains these words:

Seriously, don't wear clothes that aren't washable if you are going
to sit on patio furniture. In addition to those, there is blackbird
dung in blackberry (or blackcurrant) season, algae (not always easy
to see) and numerous other things.

Fie, Mr MacLaren. If one does not wear the dry-clean-only
designer-label leisure apparel while leisuring upon the decking, how on
earth are the neighbours supposed to spot the labels/logos and be
suitably impressed?

Janet.
