Hi,
I have 3 fuchsias about 3 years old in 30 cm pots ( one in each) on my

patio
where they have had plenty of sun and watering. This season, there has

been
a pretty poor show of flowers and they have not sent out any new shoots. I
have a feeling that they would be happier in the flower bed. Am I right?

Do
they like more space than I have given them?
Thank you.

Hi Brian,

I've had the same plants in pots for 4 years now (in
Aberdeen). They sit out in all weathers, but every spring I prune them, give
them a bit of protection to cut down on any frost damage, and give them a
regular feed - you can get specialised ones, but my plants seem to enjoy
tomorite once a week or so from May / June onwards till Sept
