Get a composting bin and make your own from your kitchen waste.

Not an entirely realistic suggestion, of course. But it makes me
think: I've been asuming you haven't got a garden. But if you have,
then it's quite OK to grow most indoor plants in pots of garden
soil -- for most of them it could even be better.
