Default chinas/teas in colder zones

I'm with Brian - for those of us in those "colder" zones, it's still much
too early to tell.

I've grown Old Blush in zone 5b (Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA) for a few
winters now with some success. In the past, I've put burlap around it
and extra leaves as a mulch to help it get through. This year's
winter as been much colder than the last few and it's not over yet, so
it's much too early to tell how it faired.

Did any of you try Chinas or Teas in cold zones, with extra-ordinary
winter protection ? if you did, how did it turn-out ?
