Next Question:
Should I plant it in the open?
If so, what conditions does it like?
Well, Hebes do well up here, where it tends to be a bit (!) cold, and
the soil is acidic. I made the mistake of planting three Hebe's next
to the terrace, and they've outgrown their space, and their welcome!
They have longer, thinner leaves than yours, though.
In the main I tend to keep them in (large-ish) pots, where they do well.
Right, I'll do the same! I remember now that we had a purple/white flowered
one (each flower was half and half) which I grew from a cutting and it
became huge. Can't remember what happened to it though.
Thank you again,
Mary
