The message
from "Rupert \(W.Yorkshire\)" contains these
words:

Could you not just use a dawn to dusk sensor.

That would waste energy and pollute his neighbourhood night sky all
night long, instead of just the evening.

Isle of Arran Open Gardens weekend 21,22,23 July 2006
5 UKP three-day adult ticket (funds go to island charities) buys entry
to 26 private gardens

I had assumed that he would want to use it in conjunction with a
timeclock
which sets the constant off time!

I had assumed he might have the nous to figure out when it gets dark!
Good

I assumed he wanted to avoid the hassle of having to turn on the lights when
it gets dark, particularly when away from home:-)
