Default Grass in flower beds

Could you let us know which garden centers are likely to have
the corn gluten. I admit I haven't really looked, but I've
also never run across it when I've looked for or asked about
pre-emergents.

TIA, dot

Once you get the existing grass either killed, or all pulled out, you
can keep new grass from sprouting with corn gluten. Organic
anti-sprouting granules. Several local garden places sell it. Works
pretty well. It will keep ALL seeds from sprouting for a few months,
however, not just grass. But it does wipe out 90% of all the new grass
in our flower beds. Organic too in case you want to use around
vegetables.

I buy and mix up a grass killer called "over the top". I could be
wrong,
but I thik it is made by Ferti-lome. You spray it on (carefully so as
to
not get it on your good grass), and set back for 10 days to two weeks
and
wait for the results.

How do I stop grass from growing in my flower beds? I have put in
edging, black plastic and mulched but I can't keep it out. I'm about
ready to throw in the trowel!!!
