Default [IBC] Junipers and pines in sun

In a message dated 3/20/2003 10:12:36 AM Eastern Standard Time, writes:

Would my pines and
junipers survive in that low light atmosphere with
only maybe 1 or 2 hours of direct sunlight a day? If
they would and just not thrive what would be the
consequences of the low light.

Ben:

During the growing season, your Junipers and Pines will require substantially more direct light--approximately 6-8 hours of direct sunlight to fuel healthy growth.

If the trees receive only 1-2 hours of light, I would expect to see leggy, weak growth.

Cordially,
