Datura? :-)

IIRC, if they are pointing downwards, they are brugmansia, if they
point upwards, they are datura.

I've found huuuuuuuggggeee brugmansia trees in quite a few places
here on Oahu. No dying back so they just keep growing and growing
and growing and....
