Not universal at all. Find out which contractor made your particular
Sears. They used different manufacturers at different times. And see if
the deck model number has a manufacturers conversion number. Actually the
tractor could be made by a different outfit that made the deck. Be
prepared to spend almost as much for a replacement deck as you can buy a
new machine for at year end sale prices.

Not quite that much, but it will cost between $300 and $400 for a
replacement. I checked on replacing mine (Murray) on an Agway tractor.
