Default camellia problems

Ummm! Yep!. I never thought of that!

Now to decide which is to go g

Although I have 2 other camellias in the same bed about 2 meters either

side and
they are displaying some leaves with the same symptoms.

Oh btw, they are facing east.

There has been a couple of scorchers the last 3 weeks, and the

Christmas/new
year hot days we had here in Melb. were in Hobart and they didn't get a

drink, I
think that might have contributed to the problem, Oh well off with the old

in
with the new so they say.

But I agree with you about the A/C, I'll have to give that one a little

thought.

Thanks
Gerard

I would have said the A/C unit too, but considering the others 2metres
either side are showing signs of it, then it may have only contributed to
it, making the one in front of the A/C worse.
With the added information of the heat/lack of water, and the fact they are
facing east, I am guessing the dew on the leaves was hit by the sun early
causing the dew to heat up and burn the leaves. Add to that the lack of
water to the plant too.
The hot air from the A/C burnt it just a little more.
Just a guess anyway

Good luck
