Fatsia japonica looking unhealthy
Gardening newb here, but trying. Planted a Fatsia japonica in what I
thought would be a good site September last year. Unfortunately one of our
lovely local stags took a liking to its thin trunk and rubbed his antlers
along it during rut. It appears to have survived but this spring it is
looking very unhealthy. Pale yellow leaves, not much new growth. In its
position it is also affected by our winterly SW winds - I wonder if it
perhaps does not like that position, amongst other things. Is this plant
saveable - any reason for such pale yellow leaves?
