Unlucky! Certainly not. I think your Foxglove is one of the 'Excelsior'
strain of Digitalis purpurea. The flowers grow horizontally on the spike and
can be pink, purple, cream or white in colour. A jolly nice and special
Foxglove to have in your garden.
