That is what you pay your ISP for. From what they collect from you, they
purchase packet transmittion from the network companies. Passage along
networks is similar to phone traffic - if the source network originates
more traffic than they receive they make a payment to the receiving network.
All the costs should be covered by your monthly fee. Of course if you are
using a "free" email service, then you should expect advertisements but only
those that are posted by or through your immediate service provider.
