Default Phalaenopsis amabilis

Does anyone know if Phalaenopsis amabilis and P. 'Tiasuco Snow' are one
and
the same? The flowers of both orchids appear to be identical.

As you probably know one is a species and the other a hybrid, if the latter
was a variety of P.amabilis it would be written so. (e.g. P.amabilis
"Taisuco Snow") There are a great many "Taisuco" Phals about, obviously the
breeders name.
I think for a definitive answer you need to contact experts like McBeans
Orchids ...

ps. note spelling of Taisuco.
