Hello Randy,
I'd only guess it's late in the Minnesota growing season for post emergent
turfgrass weed control.

The good news is the dandelions are perhaps the easiest turfgrass weed to
control, even in the spring.

Anything with 24D will wipe them out. (oh that's not PC?)
