No winter yet
In article ,
says...
All the summer veggies (capsicum, sweet potato etc) still have leaves. I
moved the horses 3 weeks ago and the paddock they were on was still covered
but well eaten down. Today it is showing 10-15cm of new soft growth.
If this is the climate change future I can stop worrying about having enough
feed to get them through winter.
We had some pretty mild minimums here in N.E Tas in the past few weeks,
due to the prolonged overcast weather (and plenty of rain).
A lot of veggie seedlings seemed to have also noticed the warmer
weather, and began germinating... finally.
Now it's snapping back down again... but still relatively mild compared
to what it can be. Getting frosts each morning now and down to about
-2C.
