Default Uses for runner bean seeds.

I've just harvested 7 pounds of runner bean seeds from fully ripe dry
pods. It seemed a pity to let them go to waste - only a few will need
saving for seed next year.

Anyone have any recipe ideas for them?

Spouse dislikes the beans cooked whole - and the bean skins are not very
appetising, so as an experiment we boiled some whole until tender
(minimum of twenty minutes) then blended the drained beans with some
fried onions in the food processor until they were a purée and mixed
this with some cheap tinned corned beef. Added some mixed herbs and
placed in a Pyrex dish. Topped with mashed potatoes then sprinkled some
cheese on top and cooked for ten minutes in the microwave on combination
(grill full power and microwave at medium). The result was very tasty.
The bean and corned beef mix just looked like and tasted like minced
beef. Serve with a side portion of greens and some gravy. Good cheap meal.

Anyone got any other suggestions for using the runner bean beans?
