Hello,

Has anyone used " 6X " fertiliser. It is quite expensive (about £9 for a
bag ) but is used very sparingly.

Experiences & comments please ?

It's excellent stuff but expensive IMO. Because you use it so thinly,
IME the volume of fibrous material doesn't really make a significant
difference to soil structure.

For convenience and price I prefer the dry pellet products (also made
with poultry manure) which come in a useful lidded tub and are more
widely available, often at a good discount in DIY sheds.

6X is also extremely pungent. Using it on the upwind side of your house will
make you unpopular with the rest of the family, not to mention the downwind
neighbours.
