This year my radishes have grown well but are badly
damaged by a worm/maggot.
I thought that the usual maggot is not normally a
problem in the Spring. Anybody else had problems this
year?
I wont use pesticides cos no point in growing own
vegetables if full of poison; dont want to cover the
crop cos lines of radishes look nice in the veg beds but
lines of fleece do not.

Are you sure it's not Flea Beetle?

Cabbage root fly?
If you are only growing them to look nice you don't have to wory about
them giving a crop
