The website is nowhere to be found I see, so all I can do is rely on reports
that wholesale these days is a minimum 10,000 plant order.

I'm pretty sure that isn't accurate. Coincidentally, I haven't been
able to obtain a list recently, perhaps they know we don't buy that many
plants... But, I've seen plenty of OZ plants for sale in the last few
weeks that I know weren't purchased in 10,000 lots. These growers would
be lucky to have 2000 plants total. Perhaps 10,000 is a really good
price break point, but I doubt it is the minimum.

OZ supplies almost every major Paph retailer I know of to some degree- in many
cases totally, so given the enormous inventory they have I can understand why
they would avoid direct retail.

Indeed. And their business model is a good one, as far as I can
see. Tempts me to try a similar thing, except that my climate is
unsuitable, labor isn't exactly cheap here, and I lack a zillion acres
of growing space... *grin*
