I just call it periwinkle, I have one that is climbing over a dead shrub
and it looks very pretty :-)

Yes, periwinkle is its common name - pretty name too, IMO.


One it shares with a small snail that grubs around rotting seaweed in
the higher reaches of the tide-washed beach ;-)
