Get 1 or 2 clay flue pipes. The fish will love swimming in and out and
it will give them a place to hide. I took a file to the sharp edges so
that the fish wouldn't get cut on a sharp edge. The plastic crates are
fine for a short period of time, koi grow quickly and you don't want
your fish to get stuck in the crates (they have been known to do this).
