Default coastal ants

you know, the cute little brown ants that get into everything. they
dont take any of the usual ant bait products. they love catfood and
cat bikkies, and I darent leave the washing up til the next morning.
YUMMY.

I got the same problem and I place my cat's bowls in a saucer
of water so they can't get in there. I don't think you can stop them
from coming in the house though, it's a good motivation for keeping
the kitchen clean, I guess.

love, Barb.
