Yes and we all want this pest to spread don't :-P we?

They look a lot nicer than the crappy native plants in the bush. :-)

but nowhere near as nice as the nice native plants in the bush :-)

Yeah I know but theyre invasive, and a real pain to remove. My wife
changed her mind, but the aggies reckon they like it here.
All the road crews are planting them in the nature strip in the center
of roads. God will get them for that...

no, no, i'm saying the pretty natives are better. (because they _aren't

Apparently the Cootamundra wattle (which I think is pretty!) is invasive in
some places. Pittosporum is too, but I don't think it's very attractive.

Anything out of its normal area has the capacity to be a weed.
Corymbia torelliana is one of my favourite trees, but is native to FNQ and
is a pest in Brisbane.....

well, they do say a weed is any plant you don't want in the spot it's in...
i suppose that covers all contingencies :-)

i'm still recovering from the fact my dad planted lantana.
incredible!!!!!!!!! yet, it actually doesn't get out of control in our area,
so i suppose looked at that way, he _didn't_ plant a noxious weed, he
planted a little flowering bush.
