Fraxinus Raywoodii [Claret Ash]
When we bought our house, some 25 years ago, I fell in love with a picture
of the Claret Ash, so we planted one in the front lawn. I knew how tall it would grow but not that the root system would show 6-7" above ground. I still love the tree, but would like to know if I could cover up the root system with dirt, thus building up the lawn so that we could mow and the roots wouldn't show. Cazza |
