Default Ryobi Weed Wasp

It was a present....I didn't buy it. After years of "great'
service (I even had the bump head replaced with a manual feed) it's
finally stopped working. The motor runs fine but pulling the trigger
fails to have any action on the head.....the motor just revs harder
and that's it. Anyone had this problem before? TIA

g'day bur,

sounds like it's either going to be the centrifical clutch has packed
it in or the flexable drive shaft has parted company, i'm not familiar
with the brand/models so guessing it is a bent shaft model? if it's a
straight shaft model then you may have stripped ther gears.
