Big Bamboo in France?
Hello:
I'd like to grow big bamboo on my land in France. (Dept 24: Dordogne, latitude 45° 11' 0" N, Climate zone -7 to -12 C /20 - 10 F) I've seen a nice stand of green bamboo in Perigueux noir. The stems are about 1" in diameter. Does anyone in this climate zone grow a larger variety? DW |

There's also some large bamboo in the botanical gardens of Montpellier, b= ut it seems to be just one variety. |
