[IBC] Mailing trees question
Water tree and allow excess water to drain out of the pot. Wrap the
pot in saranwrap to hold the soil in. Put the pot into a box with three or four inches between the top of the tree and the top of the box. Fill the box with styrofoam peanuts, being careful to fill the spaces in the branches. Tape box shut and mail. I have received a few trees this way that arrived in perfect health. One tree was upside down when I opened the box, but it was fine. They were shipped regular mail, 3-5 days, but if you want to be sure you should probably ship overnight. Hope this helps.
