[IBC] a few questions
Sorry Nic,
By the time a Juniper starts turning brown it has usually been dead for a few months. It should have been outdoors, in full sunlight. It should also have been watered only when the soil was drying out. If your friend was advised to keep it indoors, tell him to take it back for a refund as the vendor was wrong. Next time he should try an outdoor tree outdoors or an easy indoor variety from a proper bonsai nursery or at least someone who knows enough to advise correctly. Kev Bailey okay my roommate has a juniper bonsai tree and it is turning brown. and i know that it should not be in direct sunlight. but i dont know exactly how much water he should give it daily. also i am thinking about getting a florescent light for it but i would like to know the correct wavelengths for the tree or which bulb would be best. its not a very big one, but should it be clipped regularly? need some quick tips....thanks so much! -nic --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
