Good day all, I would like to know how hardy boxwood is in zone 5 B.C. and
is it a good specimen for bonsai?

Is the boxwood collected from our forest a good choice?

I use English Boxwood and Japanese Boxwood here in Florida but these are
shrubs. If it grows in the wild where you are it should grow in a pot. But I
am not sure we are talking the same species. The boxwoods I use are all
Buxus.
