[IBC] natal plum
So.
Now that I have one, I'd appreciate any tips on the care and feeding of a newly transplanted tree. All I had available was native soil when I dug it up. I moved it this morning -- with NO further roots work -- to bonsai soil in a larger pot. I plan on keeping it fairly dry for a while. I have Sabrina's essay on Carissa from the BCI website. There's little about it in Leizsc. . . . 's Indoor Bonsai and nothing about it in any other book I have (though I haven't looked at the BBG's tropical booklet yet). Suggestions? Warnings? (I've been gorging myself on the fruit for the past several days, and wonder if it will fruit up here in the "frigid north". ;-) It blooms and fruits all year round in St. Petersburg.)
