Default [IBC] Words to live by!

Why do people bring home new plants and mess with them right away? The
plant may be stressed by the move. You don't know how it will react to where you place the plant. So how do you know which thing affected the plant the most?

The above questions should be answered with a resounding WAIT and have PATIENCE by every member of the Bonsai forum when they bring home new material before working on the new tree!

Why not wait and see how the tree will react to its new environment. It may look healthy, but after 30 or even 60 days the tree will tell you how it is doing.

Living with the tree for up to a year is not considered too long a period of time before styling, so that is where the patience comes in!!!

Thank you Kitsune Miko for the words of wisdom!
