Default [IBC] Bonsai Plants in Tufa

I particularly liked the juniper planting. The others - eh!.
BTW what most Americans call tufa, I call feather rock.
If you go to Italy, the most common building material is tufa: but a
different kind of tufa. It is creamy white, soft, and can be cut with a
hand saw to any shape or size desired. During WWII, we used it to build our
home made shower. We took a stack of tufa blocks, made a wall 6' tall,
placed a wing tank from a P-38 ( a 250 gallon egg) on top of the wall, and
ran a rubber tube out of the tank. The bottom of the tube was sealed off
with a clamp. Then we waited until the sun heated the water. On cloudy
days, nobody took showers! On very warm days, we had to dump a 5 gal. drum
of cold water into the tank so that we wouldn't fry when we released the
clamp.
Showers al fresco was the order of the day. I'll never forget it.

Here are few good Bonsai plants in Tufa. Taken in San Diego last year.
